KRUPS Automation supports the SolarCaRS+Cup 2025
Sustainability meets technological enthusiasm: students develop their own solar karts
The SolarCaRS+Cup Rhineland-Palatinate is a statewide competition for students in grades 7 to 10. Over the course of an entire school year, the teams design and build their own solar karts, working on design and technology before proving their skills on race day. Success is measured not only by speed and driving ability but also by energy efficiency, creativity, and team spirit.
Starting in the 2025/26 school year, a new “Open Class” will be introduced, offering space for even more innovative vehicle concepts and fostering the creativity of the competition.
Successful support from KRUPS Automation
This year, KRUPS Automation supported a student team from Dierdorf. With great commitment and technical expertise, the young talents achieved impressive results:
- Jury Prize for the most beautiful and realistic kart
- 2nd place overall – just one point behind the winning team
These outstanding results clearly demonstrate the innovation and enthusiasm of the next generation.
Shared values
For KRUPS Automation, taking part in this initiative was a special experience. The competition reflects values that also drive our daily work: sustainability, technical excellence, and team spirit. The positive feedback from the students and the shared experiences made this day a real highlight.
